Mobile CT scanning available in Wisconsin, Minnesota and Iowa NIS Inc. generates the foundation for highly accurate surgical guides by providing a mobile CT-Scanning Service that will come to any location in the states listed above to create cone-beam digital images using the very latest in CT-Scanning technology. Surgical Guides (multiple methods) can then be developed from these scans which can be used in the surgical process to place implants exactly where they are planned. The CT images can also be used in the treatment of TMJ dysfunction as well as orthodontics. For each implant site in the stent the added cost is $45 Therefore for a two implant site Scanning Appliance/Surgical Stent the total cost is $265. These stents are fully guided stents to final osteotomy. Compare this $265 total cost with other systems that cost $450 to $800 for both the scanning appliance (lab prepared) and the surgical stent (company prepared.) Turn around time is 4 to 5 days (rush orders accepted for an additional fee) versus weeks for others. Mobile CT Scanning Service (Wisconsin and Minnesota) We use cone beam technology on our trucks. (very low radiation) The cost for one scan taken when there are at least 3 scans taken per visit is $250 If two scans are taken on one visit the cost is $275 for each scan. If only one scan is taken per visit the cost is $350 for the one scan. We provide free Imaging Sciences viewer software with the scans.
